vascular spots
FOR THE FACE
- ERYTHROSE:
Erythrose is a permanent diffuse redness of the face, the colour of which can range from pale pink to dark pink. Erythrose is frequently associated with rosacea: is referred to as erythro-rosacea.
Vascular laser or IPL (depending on the type of redness) is used to treat the erythrosic component (diffuse redness) of your rosacea.
- ROSACEA AND TELANGIECTASIA
This is a chronic skin condition, resulting in progressive facial flushing. This condition affects both men and women, affecting 3% of the population. It is often difficult to live with, as there is a subconscious association between redness and alcohol abuse.
Rosacea merely reflects capillary fragility due to poor blood return in the veins of the face. Le blood pools in the small vessels of the skin, which dilate under the influence of pressure.
FOR THE LOWER LIMBS
- VARICOCITIES
Spider veins result from the dilation of the dermal microcirculatory network. The causes are numerous, but they reflect primarily an underlying venous hypertension.
The classifications are numerous:
- by observing their appearance
- their size and colour: 0.1 to 1 mm for red spider veins, 1 to 2 mm for blue, purple or cyanotic vein swelling (ectasia).
The latter categories are responsive to treatment with laser, Yag in particular.
